Anima Gallery is delighted to announce the opening of “Eruption”, a group exhibition that brings together a distinguished selection of local, regional, and international artists. This exhibition will be unveiled at a preview reception on May 10, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at our gallery space in Sikkat Al Wadi, Msheireb Downtown, Doha, Qatar, next to Al Wadi Hotel – MGallery. The exhibition will run from May 10 until June 10, 2023.

EXHIBITION STATEMENT:

In a world where the boundaries between reality and illusion are increasingly difficult to discern, “Eruption” seeks to explore the dynamic forces that shape our existence. Through the evocative medium of art, this exhibition invites visitors to engage in a dialogue about change, upheaval, and transformation—concepts that resonate deeply in the current global context.

The exhibition features a diverse group of artists from across the globe, ranging from emerging voices to established masters. The works on display span multiple artistic disciplines, including sculpture, painting, digital, and sculptural installation, each offering a unique interpretation of the concept of eruption. This rich tapestry of perspectives reflects the complexity and diversity of our world today.
